Airplanes, Cessna CE750 Failed Flap PDU and Display, April, 2007. Shortly after takeoff, the flap lever was set to select the zero degree position. The Team immediately received a ‘Flaps Fail’ amber caution advisory message. They referred to the Abnormal Checklist and exhausted all efforts to regain control of the flaps, to no avail. They then requested holding so they could burn off fuel and get the aircraft weight to within landing limits.
