There will be extensive construction work on Taxiway C at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) commencing in February, 2025 that will run for approximately one hundred eighty nine (189) days, contingent on weather and other contingencies. As always, check all NOTAMS and be particularly alert for unusual clearances and taxi instructions during the construction.
There will also be preliminary work to repair both the north and south entrances to the HNL South Ramp Tie-down and T-Hangar areas. The South entrance repair is scheduled for Thursday 9/5 from 1500 thru Friday 9/6/2024 @ 1000. Taxiway C will be closed between 822’ North of Taxiway RT and Taxiway RT. There is no alternate taxi route as the North entrance will be open during this time.
The North entrance repair work will be announced when the schedule is finalized. During that work, Taxiway C will be closed between approx. 400’ South of Taxiway F and approx. 1780’ S of Taxiway F and the alternate route for entry/exit from the tie-downs will be through hardstands 188A and 188B (north-east of of the normal entrance).
