Brief Description:

This Wings Seminar course is designed for rated pilots, student pilots, instrument or commercial. The course is an 8-week course every Wednesday 6-9 PM (3hrs). It is recommended you attend all 8 sessions to achieve the best proficiency in operating the G1000. You will have the ability to apply your classroom training and practice those skills in a full motion FAA Approved simulator, free of charge. You will learn how to use the G1000 in VFR and IMC conditions. Bring food and refreshments of your choice. Snack Machines are available. The course will be presented in a video presentation format. FAA Instrument Flying Handbook is a good source to review.

Week Seven subject matter: Training in a FAA Approved Simulator; while applying the learned Garmin G1000 skills.

Limited airplane parking on IVY Tech apron, there is more airplane parking at KSMD. Please call the FBO for crew car reservation. KSMD FBO is 1/2 mile from the Ivy Tech Aviation Center.
