Wednesday, May 8, 2024 – Saturday, May 11, 2024

Experience hypoxia symptoms while being safely monitored in the PROTE Chamber.
• No-cost, valuable hypoxia training opportunity for qualified pilots! *
• Determine what your hypoxia symptoms are in order to recognize them.
• Important for pilots flying in the high-altitude environment.
To participate and experience the Prote Chamber, you must have:
• Current FAA First Class, Second Class, Third Class Medical, or Basic Med.
• Must be at least 18 yrs old.

These will be checked at check-in. We need you to show up 1 hour before your time slot for the chamber. You can plan on a total time commitment of less than 2 hours.

45 minute slots are available Wednesday through Friday, starting at 8:00 AM with the last session beginning at 1445 PM . Saturday's schedule will be 8:00 AM-11:00 AM. Each time slot can accommodate 5 airmen.

Directions to Venue:

From I-85, take exit 49 to Concord Mills Boulevard. Take Concord Mills Boulevard for .6 miles and make right onto Thunder Road. Thunder Road for .6 miles and right onto Derita Road. Take Derita Rd. for .5 miles and make a right onto Aviation Way. Continue on Aviation Way to the round-about, make first right onto Aviation Blvd NW. Use call box on left to contact the FBO for access through the gate. Proceed to the 2nd hanger on left. 

If you are flying in, park on the ramp and then proceed to the FBO for directions/ride to the hanger.
