Brief Description:
Due to the mix of IFR, VFR, piston, turbine, civilian, military, private, training, and airline aircraft operating in the Garden City Regional Airport (GCK) airspace can present unique challenged to pilots. The over lying airspace surround the airport includes a combination of Class D and E airspace.
Presenters from the Garden City Regional Airport and Wichita FAASTeam will discuss the airspace overlying the airport's IFR and VFR flight operations, ground operations, operational elements unique to the airport. Also discussing general concerns and issues and operating recommendations to pilots operating in the Garden City Regional Airport Airspace.
