This eight hour ground school covers mountain flying issues in depth.  The curriculum includes density altitude, aircraft performance, aviation physiology, weather, survival, CFIT and other factors pertinent to mountain flying.

The course gives the two elective and one required knowledge credits for the Advanced WINGS Phase. This course must conform to the syllabus and slides available from CAP NHQ. For associated flight credits, use the CAPF 91 course.
