We will start the day with a discussion of the WINGS program. What is it, How do I maneuver through it and Why should I even participate. This seminar is beneficial to any class of Pilot: Student, Recreational, Light Sport, Private, Commercial and ATP as well as CFIs. We will discuss: Navigating the FAASAFETY.GOV Website; How to find Seminars, Webinars and Courses on the website and how to enroll in them; How to request Wings Credit for completion of an event (Knowledge and Flight), We will also review the "My Wings" site and what we can learn from it along with The Paul and Fran Burger 2020 $10,000 WINGS Sweepstakes.
After the WINGS seminar, we will celebrate a new Wright Brothers Master Pilot from our area. This presentation will be for Retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel William P. "Bill" Farnham. Colonel Farnham has had an interesting flying career including serving in Thule, Greenland, Vietnam and Thailand as well as numerous bases in the States. He currently owns and regularly flies a Kappa Light Sport Airplane from Tampa North airport.
