Brief Description:

With speakers from the US Army, UAF ACUASI and the FAA, the evening will include information on unmanned aerial aircraft, or drones, from all angles.

The Army will discuss an overview of the Gray Eagles, flying in the restricted airspace, certificate of authorization and include a special section on safety.

ACUASI will discuss their operations including details on how they safely take off and fly drones at Fairbanks International Airport while manned aircraft are flying.

The FAA will cover a briefing on regulations, current trends, how to report an unsafe drone and general responsibilities of drone operators.

Directions to Venue:

When approaching Fairbanks International Airport, take the airport service road that exits to the right of the terminal approach road. As you proceed down the service road, you will pass Mail Trail Road on the right. Look to the left for Brumbaugh Road. Turn left on Brumbaugh and drive to the end. Main building is on the left, next to the equipment parking sheds.

Go to the Main Building Door, enter the outside door and there will be someone to let you in the security door.
