Brief Description:

Join Ed Chapman, a MN Aviation Hall of Fame Inductee, for a discussion of the history of ballooning, the differences between hot-air ballooning and gas ballooning, modern ballooning, flight records, flights abroad and costs of ballooning.  Ed will bring equipment for us to see including a complete basket, burner and instrument package along with fabric samples.

This seminar will be located in the Modern Avionics Hanger located behind shop. If flying in and the ramp is full you will need to park across the taxiway in the grass.  Please notify Flying Cloud Ground Control of your intentions.

You may want to consider bringing a chair in case there are none available when you arrive.
